PRESENCE has been a topic of conversation in many coaching conversations the last few weeks.

Being present and directing your attention on this minute is a wonderful tool to stop your (often anxious) thoughts from ping-ponging.

FOCUS ON YOUR SURROUNDINGS

When you catch your thoughts running amuck, simply pause and direct your attention to your current sensory experience…are you breathing deep in your belly? What are you touching, what qualities does it have? What do you smell? What is in your line of sight? What are you drinking/eating?

REDIRECT

Simply directing your attention to this moment and your sensory experience, calms the mind and nervous system. Focused attention not only calms your mind, it grows your 🧠! Try it. Let me know how it goes. Wishing you a day of presence.
