The women in our lives are the women in our bones
We’ve known them for millennia because they birthed us, bathed us, launched us, and held us through all of our transitions
We love them in profound ways because we are them
We are their bones, their tears, their joys
We are the flesh of them; the air in them; the particles of their past and present
The women of the world are the visible and invisible powers that bind it all together
